Folk Fest lands iconic singer

The Brandon Folk Music and Art Society has announced that Buffy Sainte-Marie will be the artist-in-residence and main headliner for this year’s festival.

The highly acclaimed singer-songwriter has agreed to entertain fans under the leafy canopy at the Keystone Centre’s green space in July.

“We are absolutely delighted to be able to work with Buffy Sainte-Marie and to be able to bring into Brandon an international artist of Buffy’s calibre” said Shandra MacNeill, the society’s chairperson.
