King lifts Wheat Kings
Goals from some unexpected sources helped the Brandon Wheat Kings get their offence untracked on Friday night.
Sanfred King and Matt McCue scored their first goals of the season as the Wheat Kings downed the Tri-City Americans 5-1 in Western Hockey League action in front of 4,206 fans at Westman Place.
Andrew Clark, Brayden Schenn and Aaron Lewadniuk also tallied for the Wheat Kings, who bounced back from a slow first period to score three times in the second and twice more in the third, improving their record to 4-4-0-0.
