A 62-year-old woman from the Alexander area has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident last week.

A semi truck operated by a 53-year-old man from Elgin was heading north on Highway 250 and entered the intersection. The semi was struck by a pickup truck that was heading east on the Trans-Canada, driven by a 25-year-old from the Alexander area. His passengers consisted of three women and a three-month old baby.

The 62-year-old woman was transported to the Intensive Care Unit of the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre for treatment. She passed away on Saturday.
