Davis & Henderson reports Q3 profit of $25M, revenue up sharply from year ago
TORONTO - Davis & Henderson (TSX:DHF.UN) said Monday it earned $25 million in its latest quarter as revenue grew, helped by its acquisition of Resolve Business Outsourcing Income Fund earlier this year.
The cheque supplier said the profit amounted to 49 cents per unit on revenue of $142.5 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30 compared with a profit of $23.3 million or 53 cents per unit on $95.1 million in revenue a year ago.
"Over the immediate future period, we will focus on integrating the business of Resolve, executing our organic growth initiatives and continuing to diligently manage costs," the company said in a statement.
Units in the fund, which reported its results after the close of markets, were down eight cents at $14.57 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Monday.
