Gryphons women's hockey, Varsity Blues volleyball postponed because of H1N1

Ontario University Athletics has postponed a pair of Guelph Gryphons women's hockey games and a Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball match because of an H1N1 outbreak on the respective teams.

The OUA said Friday that the Gryphons have some confirmed cases of H1N1 on the squad, with other players suffering from flu-like symptoms.

Guelph was scheduled to visit the York Lions on Saturday and the Toronto Varsity Blues on Sunday.

The Blues women's volleyball home game scheduled for Sunday against the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks was also called off after members of the Toronto team came down with H1N1.

All games will be rescheduled.
