Epcor Utilities reports quarterly loss compared with profit a year ago
EDMONTON - Epcor Utilities Inc. reported a loss in its most recent quarter on Friday compared with a profit a year ago.
The Edmonton-based utility said it lost $56 million on revenues of $350 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with a profit of $76 million on revenues of $954 million a year ago.
Epcor builds, owns and operates electrical transmission and distribution networks, water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure in Canada.
