Ont. man charged with attempted murder after car driven at police during chase

BRANTFORD, Ont. - A Brantford, Ont., man has been charged with attempted murder following a chase in which police allege a car was driven toward officers.

Provincial police say it started Tuesday when a car was stolen from an Oxford County factory.

It's alleged the car was driven at three officers during the chase.

At one point, police called off the chase because it was too dangerous.

It ended when the car skidded and slammed into a tree.

Robert Ryan, 19, was arrested and charged.
