One dead, two injured after helicopter crash in Quebec
MONTREAL - One man has been killed and two seriously injured after a helicopter crashed into a sandbar in the middle of a river in northeastern Quebec.
Provincial police say the crash happened around 2 p.m. Thursday near Baie-Comeau, more than 600 kilometres northeast of Montreal.
The 58-year-old pilot died while two women were taken to hospital in Quebec City.
